Blair McMillan's debut YA novel, Here Upon the Tide, was released in July 2023 receiving widespread praise and positive reviews. It tells the story of two grieving teenagers from opposite sides of the globe, both of whom are both struggling to recover from trauma that has upended their lives. Blair lives in Christchurch with his wife and two teenage boys and has run a swim school with his wife for over twenty years.
