Ant Bentley

Ant and his wife Lou founded The Akaroa Cooking School back in 2009 and continue to run it today. They have written two cookbooks and have been named by Lonely Planet as one of the top 10 cooking schools in the world.  They have guests coming to their school from all over the world and they specialise in cooking locally sourced seasonal produce and turning these ingredients into restaurant style dishes to inspire their guests to recreate at home.

Ant is also an artist specialising in painting contemporary landscapes and pencil drawings. He has a picture framing business which he runs from his home studio in Takamatua.
